Tr (DNER) Antibodies

Screening for antibodies against Tr antigen (DNER) is used in patients with suspected paraneoplastic syndrome.

The DNER antigen (Delta/Notch-like Epidermal Growth Factor related Receptor) is a molecule located in the central nervous system and more specifically, it is expressed in the Purkinje neurons of the cerebellum and is essential for the normal growth of Purkinje cells and Bergmann's glial cells.

DNER antigen is the target of specific antibodies associated with paraneoplastic cerebral degeneration in patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
